Carol Rigsby
Executive Director
Carol Rigsby is the Executive Director at Trustwell Living of Raytown. As the Executive Director, she oversees and directs the day-to-day functions and efficient operations of the community. Carol is also responsible for ensuring the residents receive the highest level of quality care while creating a harmonious work environment for all team members.
Prior to joining Trustwell Living, Carol was the Executive Director at another senior living community. Carol’s leadership and management gives the community and its residents an advantage with care and care planning through her hands on approach. Carol is a graduate of William Jewell College where she received her BA in Business Administration and Management.
It is Carol’s passion to offer reassurance and peace of mind when helping to guide residents and families though the transition of aging and establishing a new home. Offering support and assistance that they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle with dignity. Our families need to trust that we will take care of their loved ones, as if they were our own.
Carol was raised close to this community, with her family farm just across from where the sports stadiums are now. She has generations of family that have called this area home. From Leeds to Raytown to Independence her roots are deeply planted in this area. It is important to serve those from her community. There is a true sense of satisfaction when you can help your neighbors. Carol currently lives on an orchard, with her dog Sugar. It is the site where her childhood home was located, but a newer home was built in in its place. She had the privilege of living next door to her grandparents and great-grandparents, so family has always been important to her. In Carol’s spare time, she loves to fish, hunt and watch movies. She also enjoys collecting antique Fenton glass. But her all-time favorite pastime is cooking, baking and competition BBQ.

Nancy Majors, LPN
Health Services Director – Assisted Living
Nancy Majors is the Health Services Director of Assisted Living at Trustwell Living of Raytown. As the Health Services Director she works closely with current and prospective residents to assess them for care needs, ensures that care plans are being followed by the clinical care team and coordinates with other providers to ensure quality of life for our residents. Nancy is passionate about resident care for seniors and strives to make a home-like atmosphere for the residents to receive the care they need through a caring and compassionate approach.
Nancy brings an extensive health care background and experience to the community and its residents through her experience in a variety of healthcare setting including hospitals, long term care communities, home health and memory care. Nancy is a graduate of Penn Valley College and Brown Mackie College where she achieved her LPN.
Through her experiences in senior living, Nancy is passionate about providing quality care for residents. She takes the time to get to know each resident to learn about them personally and what their care needs are. She is very passionate about providing quality and compassionate care to residents. She is dedicated to creating an environment that provides the best possible care and enjoys making residents feel special and cared for.
Nancy enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. It’s her favorite thing to do. She also loves her church and is a leader in the Friendship Club at church which is a special class for young adults with learning disabilities and or mentally challenged.
